Each senz° umbrella has its own specific opening and closing instructions.
In general:
Keep the long side down when you open and close the senzº umbrella. Is it stormy outside? Then point the short side of the umbrella towards the wind.
Please follow the specific instruction below for opening and closing your senz° umbrella.
Carefully open the straps and gently shake your umbrella prior to opening to ensure the ribs are free. Open your senz° original by pulling the two parts of the handle togehter. You can close your senz° by pressing the release button.
To open your senz° large, senz° XXL and/or senz° kids carefully open the straps and gently shake your umbrella prior to opening to ensure the ribs are free. Pull the runner down until it clicks into place. You can close your senz° by pressing the button.
To open your senz° micro and/or mini carefully open the strap and gently shake your umbrella prior to opening to ensure the ribs are free. Slide the runner upwards until it clicks into place. To close your senz° micro and/or mini pull the runner downwards and close the shaft by pushing simultaneously at both sides.
Your senz° mini automatic (deluxe) opens and closes automatically. Carefully open the strap and gently shake your umbrella prior to opening to ensure the ribs are free. Press the button. To close press the button again and close the shaft by pushing simultaneously at both sides.
Thanks to its unique shape, your senz° will float through the wind while you hold it firmly in just one hand.
Hold your senz° with the short side facing the wind. Is the wind at your back? Hold your senz° umbrella on your shoulders.
Folding your senz° umbrella is very simple. We are more than happy to explain you how:
1. Make sure the senz° label of the canopy is on top so you get a flap on both sides.
2. Fold the flaps over each other away from the label. (the flap with the Velcro strap on top.
3. Roll the Velcro strap around your senz° and put your umbrella in its sleeve.
Below we take you through some of the rudimentary things you should be doing to ensure your senz° stays in tip top shape.
Finally home, after braving the storm with your senz° by your side, it's important to leave your umbrella open to let it dry fully before folding and storing.
When not using your umbrella you best store it in the luxury sleeve. This lengthens the lifespan of your umbrella considerably.
It is best to clean your Senz° with water, without soap or other cleaning products. This can easily be done in the bathtub or shower.
